Lumbini Buddhist University has adopted the policy of keeping the university campus Panchasilayukta. The 14th assembly of the university has adopted a policy of keeping the university campus clean and emphasizing on knowledge and following the message of Buddha.
Similarly, it has been decided to make Buddha bandana and Buddha statue compulsory in formal meetings and ceremonies held under the university. According to the purpose of establishing the Buddhist University, the prayer of the Buddha’s words and the statue of the Buddha are mandatory in meetings and ceremonies for the preservation and promotion of Buddhist philosophy, culture, and art.
Acting Vice-Chancellor and Registrar of the University Dr. The meeting of the Executive Council presided over by Tilakram Acharya has made it mandatory to recite the Buddha Bandana in any formal meeting, function or meeting held in collaboration or cooperation with all the bodies of the university.
The university has also decided to make it mandatory to keep the Buddha statue in the front of the meeting-ceremony venue. At the Buddhist University, there are currently undergraduate and postgraduate classes in Buddhist philosophy. Various programs of Buddhist philosophy are being conducted at the post-graduate level.
